DAVID BRIGGS Organist Emeritus - Gloucester Cathedral, England

Recently hailed by the American Guild of
Organists as one of the top 100 organists of the twentieth century, David
Briggs enjoys a worldwide reputation as an organ concert artist and is
renowned especially for his skill as an improviser. In 1989 he was
Organist and Master of the Choristers at Truro Cathedral, becoming the
youngest cathedral organist in the England. In 1994 he took up the
position of Director Music at Gloucester Cathedral, becoming only the
fourth holder of the post during the twentieth century. In 2002, David
relinquished this position in order to concentrate on his expanding
freelance career as a concert organist and
composer. He has made seventeen solo commercial recordings.

ERIK SUTER - Organist - Washington National Cathedral, Washington, DC
Erik Suter serves as primary organist at Washington Cathedral for all
cathedral liturgies, overseas all cathedral concerts, the continuously
running series of Sunday organ recitals, visiting choir series, and
the annual summer festival. In addition, he supervises the care and
maintenance of the cathedral's four organs. A native of Chicago, Mr.
Suter holds degrees in organ performance from Oberlin Conservatory and
Yale University. He maintains an active schedule of performances
throughout North America, Asia, and Europe, teaches organ at American
University, and has recorded for Pro Organo, Gothic, and JAV.

PATRICIA WRIGHT, Organist - Metropolitan United Church, Toronto
|
|
Since 1986, Dr. Patricia Wright has been
Director of Music and Organist of Metropolitan United Church in Toronto,
which boasts the largest organ in Canada - 116 stops and 8233 pipes. After
earning degrees in organ performance from Carnegie Mellon University, Dr.
Wright attained a DMA degree from Yale University in the Institute of
Sacred Music. Patricia Wright has been heard in recital in the United
States, Canada and Europe, and performed at the International Congress of
Organists in Montreal. She is a past National President of the RCCO.
